My French expatriate friend, Stella, who lives in Thailand came to visit me while in the States. Therefore, an old fashioned road trip was in order.

After some post-flight down-time in Long Beach (California) at my friend's home (thank you Ludmila!), we took off to Prescott (Arizona), stayed at another friend's home (thank you Michele!), and began our trip a few days later.
