Going to Bangkok?

Many first-timers to Bangkok have asked Ricardo for advice on where to go, stay and do. And since his friends, like he, are often too lazy to open, or cheap to purchase, a guide book, Ricardo has created a list of his favorite hang-outs. These places are centered within the district known as Banglampu (or Khao San Road area.) These listings are neither gutter, scumbag backpacker haunts, nor fancy Siam Square type locations. They are simply fun, cheap (if not a little edgy or seedy), but usually very Thai places for you to enjoy—all within walking distance from one another.
