Not only does Amman boasts to having the worlds largest flapping flag over its city center, Amman is one of the most welcoming and easy-going cities I have ever stayed in. The bowl shape of the old city center, with its white/rose stone buildings, is striking; there's a night life here; and you can take day trips to all the Roman Remains, castles and other historic sites and be back for dinner.
